VannaBay was founded by Domenica Quizhpe, a commercial professional with nine years of experience in the shrimp industry. Her work with packing plants and farms, complemented by ongoing engagement with hatcheries, feed manufacturers, packaging suppliers and other businesses across the supply chain, has given her a broad understanding of the shrimp industry and the evolving challenges buyers and producers face.
Over the years, she has built strong relationships with packing plants and a network of professionals across the industry. These connections keep her informed as suppliers’ capabilities evolve, helping her identify the right fit for each customer’s requirements.
Domenica holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a certificate in Finance. She speaks Spanish, English, Mandarin Chinese and French. Her longstanding interest in languages and cultures shapes an approach to international business grounded in understanding, respect and clear communication.
